1 juvenile Kingfisher on post in front of hide for about 20 minutes, this is the first Kingfisher I have seen on the patch since 9th May.
2 Common Buzzards over.
2 adult Common Terns with at least 1 half grown young on raft. There were 3 young last week and at least 2 on Monday but they are in the collapsed part of the raft and are out of sight most of the time. This is the 2nd breeding attempt of this pair, female is ringed, they lost both young when about one week old the first time.
16 Linnets feeding on newly harvested rape field.
