Whilst on my way to do my regular Thursday afternoon music request round for Pilgrim Hospital Radio, I saw a Kestrel hovering over the pitch at Boston United FC (AKA the Field of Dreams) with its beady eye on something... what on earth would the bird be focusing on for food? As far as I know, there is no flourishing population of bank/water voles at York Street - would it be after a feral pigeon or a collared dove or a smaller bird? |
