An excellent evening after a sudden squall. Many waders coming in off the outer marsh on an incoming tide. Visibility across the Wash to the Norfolk coastline was as good as it ever gets!

Oystercatcher 316
Black-Tailed Godwit 9 all in summer plumage head-neck and breast chestnut
Common Sandpiper 1
Lapwing 3
Ringed Plover 7
Redshank 48
Spotted Redshank 1 a somewhat scruffy individual
Avocet 4
Knot 170 approximately 40% in Brick-red breeding plumage
Dunlin 185

Little Egret 3
Common Tern 43 many juveniles
Tree Sparrow 5
