Highlights this morning:
11 Green Sandpipers on wetland channels
5 Common Sandpipers on reed bed
20 Green Shank from East hide and 1 on reed bed
70+ Little Egret from East hide
2 Ruff male and female
2 Egyptian Geese
Several Whimbrel on salt marsh
1 Peregrine flew over me near the East hide and then across the reserve causing mayhem
So although the water is very low there are still plenty of birds.
