I have spoken to the site manager and he informs me there are no plans to add water to the scrapes. They were designed with guidance from English Nature as a natural environment and it is hoped that they will not dry out completely but retain some water.

Sunday 10am. 300 mixed grey lag and Canada geese,1 snipe, 1 yellow wag, 2 turtle doves, 4 stock doves, 1 buzzard.
I thought there was more water than I'd expected bearing in mind how hot and dry it's been. It doesn't look like it will dry up completely.
Cheers. Rick
