The comings and goings of these spoonbills is getting really wierd.

Yesterday the group of five birds were reported as all being unringed - today a group of five present including a ringed bird. Any explanations please ?

Wood sand still present this evening on Jackson's Marsh, also adult Med Gull.

Kev

At least 8 gannets also plus thousands of gulls out at sea
lots of common, sandwich and little terns during the afternoon
I counted a dozen little egrets and about a 100 godwits
no explanation about the spoonbills Kev - always five when I go
