Gulls have featured at Whisby over the last couple of weeks, so it came as no real surprise when Dean Nicholson found an adult Caspian Gull on Teal Lake this afternoon. Also present were three adult Yellow-legged Gulls (Y-l Gulls have been present for about two weeks now) an adult summer Common Gull and up to 120+ LBB Gulls in a bewildering display of age classes.

Unfortunately management work at Teal Lake tomorrow morning will temporary disturb any roosting Larids, but this will finish by lunchtime and the birds are very quick to return.

Regards

Grahame
