In my caravan garden today were several Blue and Long-tailed Tit and 1 House Sparrow, we feed sunflower seed from a feeder.House Sparrow are rare here but common in the village.
Evening visit to the beach found 40 Sandwich Tern resting with a few Black-headed and Common Gull and 2 Little Tern fishing in the Haven. No passage waders just a few Redshank, Oystercatcher and Curlew.
2 Barn Owl were hunting over the other side of the Haven.

My new philosophy is working well.
Evening walk up to Pyes Hall for some hoped for early passage migrants (not twitching I hasten to add, but serious scientific study). However managed to see 2 Blue Tit and 4 sparrows, this time Tree Sparrows.
Can't wait for tomorrow maybe some Great Tits and I still need Hedge Sparrow for my monthly list.
