Taking a steady stroll to Boultham Mere yesterday (25th) and we saw from the path a Kestrel and soon after a Peregrine Falcon. On reaching the hide at about 11.20 we had couple of minutes watching a Hobby chasing insects over the water.
The 2 Common Tern on the platform had only one chick and the Black Headed Gulls were showing close interest in that one.
