Dear All, I get an average two or three "what’s this bird?" emails a week, via the Lincolnshire Bird Club website, today’s was just a little bit different! I have attached the image to this posting. I have been to see the gentleman involved, and I have seen the location. The bird was seen on the 18th June and then briefly on the 19th June 2010. It has not been seen since......... I received the images today (25th June 2010), I will check out the general area again over the weekend, and will keep everyone informed.... Andrew Chick ![]() |

This brings back memories!! It's nearly twenty years since the first one for the county (5/12/1992). I appreciate that was a winter bird but stayed for four months. During that time it was extremely site faithful - let's hope this one is of the same mind set and can be re-located! |

That's two North American landbirds in an 8 km radius of Ancaster... |

Dopey question but here goes, What and where is the other north american landbird mentioned? I've obviously missed it on the forum,or was it 'suppressed' due to being on private land, tricky to access, flyover record, short stayer etc etc? |

I assume the other one Alex was referring to was the Yellow-billed Cuckoo at Rauceby warren in October 1987. |
