To kick things off here is my small list with amount of young seen to date.

A pair of Goldcrests bred successfully this year in the fir tree by my back door. I have often had them singing from this tree but this is the first proven breeding in my garden.

I can add Robin which nested earlier in the year in my garden. The young have now fledged.

Freddy

We've had 2 broods of blackbirds and great tits + 2 broods of dunnock (one failed).

From surrounding gardens:
5 goldfinch
9 house sparrow
17 starling
1 wren
3 greenfinch

Strangely, no jackdaws, though there are dozens in the neighbouring church tower.

Hi
Swallows have chicks next to my Garage at Wragby. They have bred there for many years usually two broods, but last year they had three, the last only fledging in October. There are at least three chicks in this years brood and are about a week old.
We have young Starlings, young Sparrows, young Goldfinches and young Blackbirds in the Garden.
Malcolm.

Hi all,

Thanks for the replies, all great reading :) Especially Andy with his Goldcrest's wow that would be great to see in your garden!

I have this morning just caught a baby Wren in my kitchen  and released it back into the garden where it immediately began to call for its parents.

I've had a male and female Bullfinch visiting my garden in Louth for water several times a day for the last few weeks. They brought a single fledgling with them for the first time this evening.
