A very pleasant early morning walk about;

Curlew sandpiper - 2
Wood sandpiper - 1
Ruff - 2
Greenshank - 1
Avocet - 40
Little ringed plover - 8
Black-tailed godwit - 43
Garganey - 2
Pintail - 1
Wigeon - 2
Teal - 3
Shoveler - 30
Little gull - 8 1st summers
Common tern - 6
Hobby - 1
Corn bunting - 12
Cuckoo - 1
Turtle dove - 2
Sand martin - increasing numbers now using the nest bank
