Greylag 8 plus 25 juv. Mallard 21 plus 7 juv. Gadwall 4 Tufted 2 Buzzard 1 (being mobbed by 3 crows) Oystercatcher 2 Lapwing 9 plus 1 juv. (a pair seen nesting on a nest built by a moorhen) Coot 4 Moorhen 7 (one seen removing a Lapwing egg from above nest) Green Woodpecker 2 heard Cuckoo 1 heard Willow warbler at least 2 Chiffchaff 1 Sedge warbler 2 Reed Warbler 3 Whitethroat 1 Yellowhammer 1 Resident Wren actively feeding young No sign of LRP David |
