Main pit this morning:
1 x Cuckoo , 1 x Reed Warbler, 2 x Sedge Warbler, 1 x Tree Sparrow, 2 x Common Whitethroat, 1 x swimming Grass Snake, 1 x large Mink.
Pumping Station scrapes:
2 x Greenshank, 1 x Dunlin, 7 x Ringed Plover, 1 x Common Sandpiper, 2 x Redshank, 1 x Yellow Wagtail, 1 x White Wagtail. No sign of any Wood Sandpipers.

The reports over the last 48 hours shows that this is area that may reward some regular viewing rather than the quick quarter of an hour that I did give to the site before I realised that there was a second hide

Interesting report from Fiskerton Fen, Matthew.
You've also set a sensible and laudable precedent in separating your Fiskerton Fen sightings into

Main Pit
Pumping Station Scrapes.

No chance of any location confusion there. :)

cheers mat,pumping station scrapes is a far better name than what i've been calling it,think that name'll stick,obvious when you think about it
