Post subject:  Whooper Swan

The Whooper Swan is still present at 'Shearman's Wath' bridge on the River Bain upstream of Horncastle associating with a family group of Mute swans. Perhaps he/she has heard about the 'Ash Cloud' and decided to summer at West Ashby!

Also a 1st summer bird on a cereal field with Mute Swans on the banks of the River Eau at Susworth.
