Post subject:  Callans Lane Wood, near Bourne

A Nightingale singing intermittently and a Garden Warbler (seen) at midday Sunday.
Also several pairs of Marsh Tits including 2 enthusuastically plucking hair from a rabbit carcass hanging in a tree.

1845 -2100 hrs
1 Nightingale singing from same place as last year
2 male Cuckoos
2 singing Garden Warblers
4 Tawny Owls (2 pairs)
No Woodcock despite 2 dusk visits.
