2 more new birds for the year on the patch today:- 1 Swift over the mere in heavy rain, late afternoon 1 Sedge warbler singing from brambles near sluice, after heavy rain Also seen:- 1 male Shoveler 1 male Wigeon 11 Tufted Duck 4 Grey Partridge 2 Great Crested Grebes 2 Cuckoo 2 Yellow Wagtails 4 Reed Warblers singing |
