An Osprey flew through late morning followed shortly after by a Red Kite. Two Ring Ouzels showed from early morning and a Tree Pipit flew over. A Pied Fly was at quad 3 (per Chris Atkins). Also 25+ Willow Warblers, 10 Blackcaps, 4 Sedge Warblers, 4 Lesser Whitethroats, Cuckoo, Rewing and 4 Fieldfare. Probably the rarest bird of the day for Donna Nook was a Ring-necked Parakeet. James |
