The 7 Shore Larks were again present south of the Brickyard Lane car park at Theddlethorpe from about the middle of the morning until 12.15 at least, however, they are very mobile and we did not see them when we first arrived. 9 Wheatears were also present in the general area.
A quick check of Seaview Farm produced 1 Wheatear.

After getting news of a Great Grey Shrike sighting from Tetney during the morning, we called there on our way home and relocated it at 2.00 p.m. I awoke Bradders from him slumbers to give him the news and then set about trying to get some images as the shrike was covering a lot of ground and never close. We had not seen it clearly at that time and only knew that it was a grey shrike.
The bird was still present when we left at about 4.10 p.m.

If the finder of the Great Grey Shrike is reading this, please make yourself known to a member of the forum so that you may receive due credit in the 2010 Lincolnshire Bird Report.
