The swan herd (much diminished) on Martin Fen has moved eastwards to within about half a mile of Martin Dales, still on the north side of the B1191 on to a partially flooded field of autumn cereal. This morning at 08.15 there were 2 adult Whoopers with 35 Mutes. Also feeding in the casual water in the field were 3 Snipe. |
