Post subject:  Shore Larks

4 Shore Larks on the beach 200 metres north of Brickyard Lane car park at 2.00 p.m. today. In the dunes, 2 Willow Warblers, 2 Chiffchaffs and 1 Blackcap.

Manby Flashes on the way home produced 3 Little Egret, 3 Redshank, 4 Snipe, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 12 Swallows and a pair of Wigeon amongst the regular Teal, Shoveler, Mallard, Shelduck and Gadwall.

Sedge Warbler singing at Fiskerton Fen and Little Owl and Kestrel on Nocton Fen.

4 shorelarks still present sun at 0630 hrs, whilst doing WeBS . John.

7 Shore Lark just 100 yds south of beach entrance Brickyard Lane this afternoon, also 2 Wheatear.
