Lovely day on the airfield today.
Buzzard 3 in stepped line astern and 1 single
Swallow 2 first arrival on 6th
Short eared owl came in from the east at about 500ft being mobbed by crows then power dived and landed on fence at 0955 had 15 mins rest and departed west crossing the A607 at the bottom end of Waddington village heading for the Lincoln edge.
Skylark 50+ singing and chasing
Meadow pipit 40+
otherwise quiet.

A quiet day on the airfield.
Curlew pr displaying and 1 single
Mute swan 3
Swallow
Wheatear 2f 1m
Fieldfare 21
Grey partridge pr
Tree sparrow 2
Buzzard pr

Chatting to the farmer at the bottom end(Barn fm) he had 2 yellow wagtail and 4 Wheatear on Thursday 8th feeding with his sheep.
