Grid ref: SE 8409 1315 - 1415 raining Sparrowhawk - 1 [chasing the finches ] Mallard - 1pr Skylark - 2 Mixed flock of finches comprising of the most Reed Bunting I've ever seen together [ Reed Bunting - 22 m & 5 f, Yellowhammer - 4, Chaffinch - 4, Tree Sparrow - 2 ] Golden Plover - c90 over [watched them for twenty minutes as they flew back and forth] Starling - c500 both in the air skydancing and on ploughed land. Lapwing - 6 Rook - 5 Crow - 2 Wood Pigeon - 14 Regards John |
