A cold and windy walk around Grebe and Teal Lakes between 11.00 and 14.00 produced the following birds:-

Grebe Lake.
2 Oystercatcher
5 Shoveler
2 Gadwell
2 Goldeneye
2 G C Grebe
20+ Sandmartin

Teal Lake
7 Bullfinch (4M,3F) all together between Teal and Apex Lake
2 Chiff Chaff - at least 4 more heard
3 Buzzards - 2 together, later seen over carpark. Plus 1 on its own
2 Goldeneye
1 Shelduck
4 Oystercacher
5 G C Grebe

Apex/Sailing Club Pit
40+ Sand Martin
4 Swallows mixed in with Sand Martins, could have been more.

Thorpe Lake
4 Oystercatcher

plus the usual Gulls,Tufted Duck,Mallard,Long Tailed/Blue and Great Tits,Cormorant,Canada/Greylag Geese and Chaffinch etc.
