I got the Wheatear (thanks Hugh) a superb fresh plumaged male but dipped out on the Chiffchaffs; teach me to get up late! Also of interest 3 Nuthatches (a pair together and a single in another area), 5 Treecreepers and at least 4 pairs of Marsh Tits. Just about everything was in song. At least 3 GS Woodpeckers drumming and Greens yaffling. Another sign of spring was the Coltsfoot in flower. Ian |
