Post subject:  Worlaby & Far Ings: 17.03

Two visits to Worlaby and Far Ings in between.

Worlaby: 11.20 - 14.40 & 17.15 - 18.00

Merlin - 1 male [ seen quite clearly with slate grey back & black band on tail ]
Common Buzzard - 8
Kestrel - 2
Whoopers - 5 [ landed at 13.30 with a few Mutes over the crossing and left at 14.10 south ]
Mute Swan - 4
Corn Bunting - 5
Yellowhammer - 6
Little Egret - 1
Skylark - 3
Mallard - 7
Grey Heron - 3
Wigeon - 5
Teal - 2
Reed Bunting - 1
Wren - 1
Starling - 40
Chaffinch - 7
Lapwing - 18

Far ings: 15.00 - 17.00

No sign of Bittern, Marsh Harrier or Cetti. Just the usual ducks and 4 Curlew over north. Workmen had repaired Ness Hide roof and cleaning the raft.
