Whitton:Long walk to river Humber revealed not much, 100 approx Golden Plover,usual Marsh birds,Say no more!! Pleasant surprise right back at the village, a splendid male Stonechat,only yards from houses. Bagmoor:hundreds of gulls sitting on the edge of the lake completly ignoring the farmers loud bangs,3 in-a row bangs,very loud,quite comical as they never batted an eyelid-good for them. Goldeneye,nice male+female. Risby Warren:Stonechat,no wheatears as yet. Roger. |
