Had a marathon session today this time with company.

Grid ref: SE8408. 10.00

Kestrel - 2, Jay - 1, Linnet - 25.

Blyton Carrs: 10.20 - 10.40

Kestrel - 4, Common Buzzard - 6 [in air together], GSW - 1, Mallard - 3, Skylark - 21.

Owlet Plantation: 10.45 - 17.00 [ parts out of bounds due to FC workers]

Brambling - 4 [had a cracking male about twenty feet above me, it must have thought I was a bush as I was in camoflage].
Lesser Redpoll - 41, Nuthatch - 3, Tree Creeper - 2, Chaffinch - 15, Robin - 1, Blackbird - 6, Common Buzzard - 4, Sprawk - 1 [came straight into the finches but missed], Coal Tit - 6, Blue Tit - 9, Great Tit - 15, LT Tit - 6, GSW - 1, Goldcrest - heard, Dunnock - 1 plus corvids.

Laughton Common: during visit to Owlet saw 4 Common Buzzard up at same time.

Black Bank: 17.20

Barn Owl hunting as I drove home it was seen at the Trent end it suddenly dropped into or close to the dyke, so I stopped and it then took off with what looked like a shrew. :)
