Keen frost & light snow gave way to a lovely sunny morning on the patch:-
c80 Pink-footed Geese flew W at 08:45.
4 pairs Gadwall.
9 Pochard.
26 Tufted Duck.
1 female Goosander.
4 Buzzards circling together, very high.
1 Sparrowhawk.
1 pair of Kestrels.
2 Lapwings.
1 Green Woodpecker.
2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers, 1 drumming.
6 Skylarks, 3 singing.
1 Meadow Pipit.
9 Pied Wagtails.
4 Song Thrushes, 1 singing.
c25 Redwings.
8 Fieldfare.
1 Chiffchaff.
1 Treecreeper.
1 Tree Sparrow.
1 Siskin, with small flock of Goldfinches.
3 Bullfinches.
4 Reed Buntings.
4 Yellowhammers.
