Started at Black Bank at 12.20: Mute Swan - 18, Pied Wag - 1, Great Tit - 1, Blackbird - 5, Moorhen - 1, Grey Partridge - 4. Laughton: GSW - 1, Great Tit - 6, Blackbird - 5, Chaffinch - 6, Goldfinch - 2. Owlet Plantation 14.00 - 17.20: bit noisy due to clay pigeon shoot nearby. Nuthatch - 2 [video] GSW - 2 [video] Brambling - 1 Tree Creeper - 1 [video] Sprawk - 1 Blue Tit - 14 Great Tit - 12 Coal Tit - 9 LT Tit - 4 Chaffinch - 9 Robin - 1 Butterwick Hale: 17.40 - 18.00 Shelduck - 9 Redshank - 3 Teal - 4 Lapwing - 27 Didn't go any further than the concrete bridge next to stile, no shortage of water, the dyke next to me was nearly full and the small pond just beyond it is now a very large pond. Also noticed the Eau is nearly coming over the bank. Had another excellent day, certainly the best ever at Owlet! Regards John ![]() |
