Post subject:  Green Sandpipers - Scrub Hill 14 Feb 10
Whilst on TTV of TF25H (http://getamap.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/getamap/frames.htm?mapAction=gaz&gazName=g&gazString=TF2355) around midday, 2 Green Sandpipers observed just South of Bettinson's Bridge feeding in the drain next to the road. Also observed within the tetrad:
2 Redshanks
2 Kingfisher
1 Skylark
400 Woodpigeon
28 Collared Dove
16 House Sparrows
10 Chaffinch
7 Magpie
20 Blackbird
16 Goldfinch
3 Blue Tit
6 Dunnock
22 Mallard
3 Fieldfare

23 Starlings
4 Great Tit
3 Carrion Crow
5 Tree Sparrow
2 Jackdaw
5 Moorhen
19 Canada Geese
7 Greylag Geese
1 Grey Heron
4 Stock Dove

7 Mute Swan
1 Little Grebe
1 Black-headed Gull
