There have been several reports recently, on Birdguides, of a Red-necked Grebe on the River Slea near the Leisure Centre in Sleaford. Sheila and I walk that part of the river almost every day and have only seen Little Grebes. We have even been at the Leisure Centre at the times stated and not seen an RNG. Regards, Colin and Sheila |

I was there Saturday morning from 8:45 till 9:10 and walked from the town centre down to Cogglesford Mill and back again and did not see the Grebe even though Birdguides says it was there at 9:00. I did see 3 Grey Wagtails and a Kingfisher with fish. Russell |

On Saturday I walked from the Mill to the car park past the Leisure Centre then back as far as Sleaford STWs and only managed the Grey Wags & Kingfisher. This was early afternoon. No sign of the reported RNG. |
