The BNG was still present today, seen by various folk including myself and Alex Parker. Alex and I saw it, eventually, at far end of the lagoon as you view from the car park. It was extremely elusive, we were there at least an hour before we saw it (cold N/NE just about removed flesh from bone). Earlier in the hide, some unknown birders were claiming Little Grebe as the BNG.......there are up to 10 LGs there as well.

B.N. Grebe showing well this morning though never very close. Also around the lagoon at least 9 Goldeneye, 12+ Common Snipe and 3 Blackwits. A Peregrine over at about 11 o'clock put everything up for a while.

From the shelter two male Hen Harriers flying accross the saltmarsh together was a bizarre sight.

Checked out Boston Swimming Pool carpark but 4 Waxwings had just flown off before I got there. As it started to rain I did not hang around for very long!
