A visit to the patch today revealed not the usual 1 or 2 species,but 3 today!,with my first patch Little Owl being recorded and it gave great views along the edge of the Soak Drain.Other goodies seen today included the following:

18 Common Buzzard(On the Carrs and sorrounding area)
23 Mute Swan
19 Redshank
3 Dunlin
1 juv/1st winter Marsh Harrier
61 Fieldfare
22 Corn Bunting
27 Curlew
adult female Hen Harrier
1 Short-eared Owl
1 Barn Owl
1 Merlin
