 Post subject: Lincoln cathedral 08/02.

No sign of any Black Redstarts this afternoon but both Peregrines roosting on south side of main tower and 1 Grey Wagtail.

the 'european' one was showing well yesterday around the chapterhouse area,and 1 had beenshowing on the top of the main tower,above the peregrines! And the photographer was wondering how people had got good photos, he got shots of the one by the chapterhouse later though

The male Black Redstart put in a thirty second appearance at 1.45 p.m. on the roof to the left of the scaffolding. However, it failed to reappear for the next half an hour!

Both Peregrines perched above the nest platform, as described by Andy Sims.
