Spent three hours at an extremely murky Frampton Marsh. Optics misting up constantly - condensation everywhere - bitterly and penetratingly cold - thoroughly miserable whooper swans heard flying over white fronted goose 2 pintail 1 pair and perhaps a second male pink foot just 1 twite c100 |

The raptor watchpoint is a bench overlooking the saltmarsh, accessed by walking south along the seabank from the main steps for about 500m. Also seen today: Waxwing - one landed in the hedgerow near the visitor centre for a coupl eof minutes this afternoon before flying off into the mist. Lapland bunting - 7+ on the scrapes Cheers, PF. |
