Post subject:  Coldharbour Lane/ Spring Hill, Grantham - various sightings

1st February:
Skylarks - 80+ - have been in the area since the new year
Redwing/Fieldfare - 20 feeding in field with large number of mole hills plus numerous Blackbirds
Mistle Thrush - 4 with above
Magpie - 11 in one group + usual 1 near telephone mast
Goldfinch - 16 in group
Red legged partridge - 5 - have been up to 20 this year
Yellowhammer - 8 together
Crow - 10
Blackheaded gull - 6
Kestrel - 2 interacting, calling & perching on neighbours chimney stack.

2nd February:
Skylarks - 80+ still present
Redwing/Fieldfare - 20 now feeding in same field as skylarks
Crow - 10
Blackheaded Gull - 8
Few small birds on a very breezy day

Typical party sizes for this time of year but unusual to find in one morning

3rd February:
Other than partridge all of the above still present.
Yellowhammer - now 9 all in same small tree
Also
Rooks - 10
Jackdaw - 10
Buzzard - 1
Bullfinch - pair
Green woodpecker
Great spotted woodpecker
Wren
