On the 30th 6 Shorelarks flew in from the south at dawn at Saltfleet where there were also c120 Twite and 35 Snow Buntings. At Donna Nook the same day were 218 Skylarks in one flock out from the RAF base with c40 Twite and 8 Snow Buntings. There were also 10 Woodcock and 350 Fieldfare there. On the 31st there were at least 4 Shorelarks still at Saltfleet along with 250 Fieldfare, 60 Redwing and 3 Woodcock. James |

6 shorelarks still there at 1-30pm today, just over the dunes from the Saltfleet Haven car park. A pleasant 20 minutes in Covenham on the way home produced :- 1 barn owl 2 little owls 1 redpoll 1 GS woodpecker (drumming on a telegraph pole!) Cheers, Patrick. |
