difficult to estimate but I reckon there were at least 5000 fieldfare at Gibraltar Point on a cold and crisp day - lots of starling and magpies other highlights included redwing hen harrier (male) sparrowhawk woodcock 1 shoveler 17 (male) couldn't count the females goldeneye (pair) muntjac deer no sign of the smew and I couldn't find the correct spot for the dartford warbler |
