32 pink feet on the wetland this morning. two with neck rings 28K and 28H, checked the long staying flock of whoopers present for just south of the reserve too, there are 21 whoopers, 2 bewicks and 10 pink feet there, saw birdguides reported the flock as 21 Bewicks on the 25th which i presume is a mistake. Also around on the reserve today; Lapwing - 1000 Dark-bellied brent goose - 950 Pale-bellied brent goose - 6 Merlin - 1 Peregrine - 1 Hen harrier - 1 Marsh harrier - 2 Snow bunting - 16 Lapland bunting - 1 Twite - 40 John et al |
