This afternoon.
Toft.
No ice, gate still locked.
76 pochard, 5 goldeneye, 4 gadwall, 5 g.c. grebe, 1 l. grebe, no small passerines in the surrounding trees and hedges.
Nearby at Faldinworth grange.
14 grey partridge.
Chambers farm car park.
At least 20 tree sparrows.
Nocton.
3 buzzard, 2 barn owls, 6 grey partridge, 9 Whooper swans (1 juv) with mute swans half a mile from Wasp's Nest. 2 dead swans under wires near the beet factory.
4 flocks of at least 100 fieldfares between Toft and Nocton.
