Not the nice sunny day here as predicted! Still it didnt rain so thats something to be thankful for!

A two hour stake out in Barton reedbed first thing - quiet really - no Bearded Tit but highlights were a Marsh Harrier over and a nice sighting of the resident Weasel :)
Nice to meet the 3 guys from Leics and the 2 guys from Lincoln - sorry didnt get your names! (Hope you saw more after we left!)

Also seen 1 Sparrowhawk on reserve.

On the Barton-South Ferriby road - great views of a Buzzard atop of a hedge.

An hour at Worlaby Carrs (for a car picnic :D ) produced 1 Buzzard, 2 Kestrel, 10 Corn Bunting, c50 Fieldfare and 6 Yellowhammer.

An evening drive around the Goxhill area in search of Owls proved fruitless which is highly unusual, we can almost guarantee to see them there. Again unusual was a Little Egret which came up out of a roadside drain and flew towards us giving great views - first time we have seen one there.

En route back home 3 Kestrel.
