In field approx ½ mile north of Huttoft Pit 7 Mute Swan, 41 Whoopers (inc 2 juvs) and 4 adult Bewick’s. Huttoft Pit Wigeon (310) Steady numbers of mainly BH and Common Gull in and out of pit throughout. No Med Gull Only 4 Mallard, 1 Tufted Duck and 6 Teal were the only other ducks present G C Grebe 1 Dunin 1 over Golden Plover (100) I/C Lapwing (100) in nearby field Pinkfeet 2 still associating with Greylags, 18 dropped in briefly then approx 200 east Bittern seen in flight on 4 occasions Hen Harrier Male north over Pit then headed inland Regards Nige |
