Virtually all snow gone but mere still 100% frozen. 1 Little Grebe, 2 Mute Swans, 1 male Teal, 28 Mallard, 1 male Shoveler & 1 female Goosander on Catchwater drain. 1 female Goosander flew E over mere. 1 Common Buzzard. 1 Kingfisher flew over mere. c130 Skylarks & 14 Linnets feeding in flock on winter wheat field. 1 Song Thrush (no Fieldfares or Redwings today). |
