Post subject:  Swanpool/Boultham mere 14/01.
A fresh covering of snow on the patch but warmer and ground not all frozen. Catchwater drain and some of Main drain now ice free. Mere still 100% frozen:-
2 Cormorants perched on radio masts
2 Grey Herons
1 male Shoveler on Catchwater drain
1 female Tufted Duck on Main drain
10 Grey Partridges on cow field
1 Sky Lark flew E
2 Robins singing
1 male Stonechat
26 Fieldfares on cow field
1 Jay
9 Linnets
3 Yellowhammers
11 Reed Buntings
