A very frozen patch today, only open water on Catchwater drain. Bright & sunny though:- 1 Grey Heron and 1 Snipe on Catchwater drain 1 Common Buzzard in silver birch 3 Stock Doves 1 Green Woodpecker 2 Meadow Pipits feeding on beet pile 1 Grey Wagtail flew N Wrens & Robins heard singing 1 male Stonechat on bank of Catchwater drain 5 Fieldfares feeding on rose hips 1 Song Thrush 1 Treecreeper with tit flock in wood 5 Bullfinches 3 Yellowhammers 4 Reed Buntings |
