The Lincolnshire Bird Club

Thanks to Richard Hearn for the latest update on one of the Alkborough colour ringed Little Egrets from 2009 -- a juv ringed near Terrington Norfolk on 9th June 2009 -- it was then seen as follows:

10/10/2009 River Loire at Les Baffaits, Jargeau Loiret France Alive, seen in field Marc Lacroix

This is apparently the first confirmed sighting in France of a UK ringed Little Egret
