Plenty of ducks on the river Glen at the Lincs Trust's new reserve, Willow Tree Farm, as the still waters freeze over: 150 Wigeon 70 Tufted Duck 20 Mallard 20 Teal 4 Shoveler (3m, 1f) 1 Pochard m (a new winter record for TF12, that makes 85 in total with Ian's Whoopers of yesterday) Also: 30 Mute swans 1 Peregrine 1 Little Grebe 1 Green Woodpecker Hugh Dorrington |
