A very cold day today(-8 when i set off this a.m.),after a brief look at Barton the following were seen on the patch: 2 Barn Owl 73 Pink-footed Geese(North) 37 Snipe 60 Skylark 6 Common Buzzard 1 female Marsh Harrier 6 Redshank 17 Mute Swan 2 Whooper Swan(These 2 adults where on fields just past the railway crossing with 15 Mute Swan) 20 Meadow Pipit 28 Corn Bunting 60 Linnet Regards Steve. |
