Only 2 goosander today but amongst the 70 canadas and the odd grey lag is one that looks rather like a bean goose though with a shorter
neck.Interested to know what it really is.

I have posted a picture of what I presume to be your odd goose in the discussion album, it appears to be a hybrid.

3 Goosander (1m 2f)
3 Egyptian Geese
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker

It is a relatively frequent Greylag / Canada hybrid ---
